Why Vetiver
The scent of standing still
Vetiver oil is distilled not from petals but from roots — the dense, tangled roots of a tall tropical grass that grows across Indonesia, India and Haiti. Perfumers call it one of the great base notes: the deep, lasting layer that everything else rests on.
The scent is earthy, dry and faintly smoky — closer to warm soil and woodsmoke than to anything floral. It doesn't announce itself. It settles, the way a long exhale does, which is exactly why we chose it for the slowest ritual in our line.
When we say "grounding," we mean the mood of the ritual: a low, quiet scent that invites you to take your time. Nothing more claimed, nothing less felt.

Everything in the bottle
INCI: Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Vetiveria Zizanioides Root Oil.
Cold-pressed grapeseed oil, extra-virgin grade, with steam-distilled vetiver root oil at 1% or less. No parabens, no sulfates, no mineral oil, no synthetic fragrance, no dyes. Vegan; not tested on animals.
Good to know: plant oils weaken latex and polyisoprene condoms. Keep oil-based products away from latex barriers. For external use only.

Common questions
What does vetiver actually smell like?
Earthy, dry and faintly smoky — think warm soil, cut grass roots and a trace of woodsmoke. It is a quiet, low scent rather than a bright one, and at 1% or less it stays close to the skin.
Is Vetiver Yoni Oil unisex?
Yes. Vetiver is the earthiest and least floral oil in our line, and the scent reads as neutral rather than feminine. Anyone can use it on external skin — the base formula is identical across our range.
Is it safe to use with condoms?
No. Like all plant oils, it can weaken latex and polyisoprene condoms. Do not combine oil-based products with latex barriers.
Can I use it on sensitive skin?
Vetiver is diluted to 1% or less, a level suited to leave-on use on delicate skin — but always do a 48-hour patch test on your inner forearm before first use. If your skin reacts to fragrance easily, choose the unscented Original instead.
